Oh mamma mia
IT'S SANGRIA

INGREDIENTS

  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 TBSP icing sugar
  • Cracked ice cubes
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 bottled of chilled red wine
  • Lemonade, to taste

METHOD

  • Stir the lemon and orange juices in a large jug.
  • Add the sugar, stir well. When he sugar has dissolved, add the ice cubes, sliced fruit and more importantly the wine.
  • Marinate for 1 hour then serve, adding the lemonade to taste.

PINA COLADA

INGREDIENTS

  • 4-6 crushed ice cubes
  • 50ml white rum
  • 25ml dark rum
  • 75ml pineapple juice
  • 50ml coconut cream
  • Cocktail cherry and wedge of pineapple, to get fancy!

METHOD

  • Put the crushed ice, white rum, dark rum, coconut milk and pineapple juice in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a chilled glass.
  • Decorate with the cherry and pineapple.
  • Close your eyes and pretend you’re on a beach in the Bahamas!

MOSCOW MULE

INGREDIENTS

  • Cracked ice
  • 50ml vodka
  • 25ml lime juice
  • Ginger beer
  • Lime wedge, to make it look really professional

METHOD

  • Put the ice into a cocktail shaker and pour the vodka and lime juice over the cubes. Shake really hard until it’s nicely frosted.
  • Half fill a tall glass with ice cubes and strain over the mix.
  • Top up with ginger beer and decorate with the lime wedge!

ZESTY CHAMPAGNE

INGREDIENTS

  • 4-6 crushed ice cubes
  • 50ml brandy
  • 25ml orange juice
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • Chilled champagne

METHOD

  • Put the crushed ice, brandy, orange juice and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously until frosted.
  • Strain into a chilled  wine glass.
  • Top up with the champagne and drink in the summer!

LONG ISLAND ICE TEA

INGREDIENTS

  • Cracked ice
  • 25ml vodka
  • 25ml gin
  • 25ml white tequila
  • 25ml white rum
  • 12ml white creme de menthe
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 1 TSP caster sugar
  • Cola
  • Lime wedge to decorate
  • Lime wedge, to make it look really professional

METHOD

  • Put the ice into a cocktail shaker and pour the everything other than the cola. Shake really hard until it’s nicely frosted.
  • Half fill a tall glass with ice cubes and strain over the mix.
  • Top up with cola and decorate with the lime wedge! Watch out, this is a strong one!
